MOVEMENT AS
MEDICINE
MOVEMENT AS MEDICINE
That’s the thing about movement. It’s never just about the practice (the doing). It’s about “the being” - how we show up: physically, mentally, emotionally. You may walk in expecting to learn movement. But movement is "just" the doorway in.
Explore how movement and breath shapes the way you meet obstacles—physically, mentally, emotionally. Practice not just for strength, but for awareness. For adaptability. For presence. That’s when “movement becomes medicine.”
Why practice with Tia?
-
To embrace the wisdom of your body
-
To challenge yourself to take your movement practice
to the next level -
To develop psychophysical capabilities and attitudes like sensitivity, stability, (body+mind), flexibility, persistence, self-discipline, balance, and equanimity.

"Our practice is our psychophysical lab – a lab of self-study (svadhyaya), a lab for working with and on, our entire being. It’s not important how the asana looks from the outside,
but how you feel it on the inside..."-Eyal Shifroni
